Stronger Together – EMH & FHA Annual Resident Conference

More than 100 people attended the Stronger Together conference which was a joint event organised by East Midlands Housing (EMH) and Foundation Housing Association. “The conference was a resounding success and once more gave our residents the opportunity to find out more about our services, have their say and also meet people living in different areas,” explained Chan Kataria, chief executive of the East Midlands Housing.
“The day had a very varied programme and I think there was something of interest to everyone who attended.”
Exhibition stands featured the EMH and Foundation websites, gas servicing, Help The Aged, the Together Project and the Job Service Partnership, the Emerald Project, the Best Value rewards scheme and EMHomeBuy.
Dennis Rees, East Midlands chairman for the Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS), gave a presentation called “An Inspector Calls” and residents were given the opportunity to ask questions.
