Our partners
East Midlands Housing Association (EMHA) has a good track record of working in partnership with a range of organisations to meet the housing and related support needs of the communities it serves.
We deliver housing, regeneration and development solutions through partnerships with key stakeholders such as local authorities and the Homes and Communities Agency. We currently work with more than 35 local authorities alone.
But, we are committed not just to building homes. We also aim to work in partnership with agencies, including the police, schools, Social Services, voluntary organisations and other housing providers, along with our contractors to develop safe and decent neighbourhoods.
We develop an approach to neighbourhood management that addresses the needs of local communities and maximises the benefits of working with the key partners and stakeholders in an area.
We are also developing our customer involvement strategy so that by working in partnership with our tenants we can give them a say, offering them choice and influence over the services they receive.
Partnerships can be an effective means of achieving value for money and bringing in extra resources. For example, EMHA is committed to effective partnership working within the East Midlands Housing (EMH) Group and the Quantum Consortium which leads joint bids and initiatives with other operating businesses and sharing of resources for the benefit of all partners.
We will explore a range of options for developing new partnerships.
