Paying your rent

You can pay your rent in the following ways:

By Direct Debit: This is the most simple and secure way of paying your rent. You need a bank or building society account and can arrange for your rent to be paid automatically monthly. Contact us for more details and a Direct Debit form. You can also pay by Standing Order.

Through All Pay: Every tenant is issued with a credit card sized payment card that can be used at any PayPoint at various locations such as Post Offices. You can pay with cash and debit and credit cards and should always retain your receipt. You can also pay online - click here to go through to the All Pay website.

All Pay App: This is a FREE mobile application (App) available to download for your Apple or Android smartphone that enables you to pay your bills quickly and easily at the touch of a button. Simply download the allpay App from the Apple App Store or Google Play or scan the QR codes in the attached poster (at the bottom of this page) using your smartphone and start making payments the smart way!

Through CallPay: This system allows staff to take payments by debit card over the phone. It is user-friendly and can help us reduce administration costs.

In person: You can pay by cheque or card at our offices.

By post: Send a cheque made payable to East Midlands Housing Association to:

East Midlands Housing Association
Jubilee House
Stenson Road
Whitwick Business Park
Coalville
Leicestershire
LE67 4NA

Put your name, address and tenancy reference number on the back of the cheque in block capitals.

At the Post Office: You can pay by Giro or Transcash, quoting our reference number 4082168. You may be charged for using this service.

Through Housing Benefit: If you receive Housing Benefit you can have it paid directly to us. But if your Housing Benefit does not cover your full rent and service charge, you must pay the difference.

Rent statements

Rent statements showing when your rent is due, how much you have paid and the balance of your account are usually sent out every three months so you can keep up-to-date with the payments made on your account. When you receive your statement only call us if you think a payment is missing. If you need a statement at any other time, please telephone our Customer Service Centre on 0300 123 1877.

We will offer you support and try to reach a repayment agreement so that you can catch up with your payments. We can also you in touch with other agencies that can help you.
