There is plenty of help and advice available to help you stay healthy and make the best use of your heating at home.
A cold home can have a serious effect on a person’s health, leading to problems such as heart attacks, strokes, pneumonia and depression. The chances of these problems are higher if you are vulnerable to cold-related illnesses because you are over 60, disabled, on a low income, or have a long term condition such as heart or lung disease.
However, financial help is available.
